While UVA rays accelerate the aging process and lead to wrinkles and dark spots, UVB rays can burn your skin. Your risk of developing skin cancer is increased by both UVA and UVB rays. Use a sunscreen that blocks both types of radiation for the best defense; check the label to confirm that it offers full- or broad-spectrum protection.
Apply the product evenly

Avoid going out during peak hours
Avoid the sun while it is shining. You are more likely to suffer a sunburn between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. because those are when the sun’s UV radiation is highest. You may protect your skin and prevent these harmful rays by staying indoors during the noon hour. When possible, plan your outdoor activities, such as mowing the yard or walking the dog, for before 10 or after 4. Pay attention to your shadow if you’re uncertain of the strength of the sun’s UV radiation. UV exposure is minimal when it is longer than you are. However, UV exposure is greater when your shadow is shorter than you are, therefore you should try to stay inside.
Choose the right clothes
